Inclusive Leadership in the era of AI!

-
I help leaders build inclusive teams that are underpinned by Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Cultural Intelligence (CQ), and Diversity Intelligence (DQ)
-
Inclusive teams and leadership are essential in the era of AI the failure of which, could see organisations unable to perform to their full capabilities
-
By fostering diverse perspectives and expertise in the development, training, and application of LLMs and other AI models, this ensures AI tools used are ethical, fair, and aligned with the values and needs of different stakeholders and cultural contexts
What we do
-
At Executive Global Coaching, we are dedicated to providing specialised coaching in Inclusive Leadership using our EQ+CQ=DQ methodology.
-
Our goal is to assist leaders and organisations in fostering more inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplaces by enhancing Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
-
We guide leaders in managing the complexities of diverse teams, fostering strong cross-cultural relationships, and improving organisational culture through empathy, respect, and collaboration
-
This is a vital foundation for inclusive leadership and teams
Why inclusion starts at the top?
-
Leadership behaviour and actions significantly shape office culture, with employees drawing cues from their leaders.
-
Regardless of whether the workforce operates within a physical office, remotely, or in a hybrid or distributed model, leaders must be mindful of how their behaviour, language, actions, and expressions influence their workforce's perception of what is or isn't acceptable workplace conduct.
-
Leaders equipped with a blend of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Cultural Intelligence (CQ) play a very important role in fostering inclusive work environments which in turn, lay a solid foundation for cultivating and integrating 'Inclusive AI' into all aspects of their organisation.

Inclusive Leadership calls on ...
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
(EQ)
A leader with high EQ has the ability to suspend judgement, is able to 'read the room', understand what makes us human and, at the same time, what makes each of us different from one another. An EQ led leader will not hesitate to invite feedback on creating a culture of inclusion while making it clear to their team that their honesty will not impact their job. EQ led leaders are sensitive to global movements of socio-economic & racial equality and are aware that their language, tone, actions and expressions have an impact on team morale & culture.
ON HIRING – EQ leaders do not rely on intuition and/or 'gut feelings'.
A leader with high CQ has the ability to behave in a manner that is consistent with that of those around them, no matter the culture or setting. CQ includes developing skills such as active listening, empathy, flexibility, as well as knowledge of different cultures and their practices. An individual possessing elevated Cultural Intelligence (CQ) demonstrates an innate capacity to discern whether unfamiliar and ambiguous behaviour stems from personal idiosyncrasies or is influenced by cultural factors.
ON HIRING – CQ leaders do not rely on 'Culture Fit'.
CULTURAL INTELLIGENCE
(CQ)
DIVERSITY INTELLIGENCE
(DQ)
A leader with high DQ is inclusive and knows that diversity should not be viewed as a problem to be solved but rather, an opportunity to be capitalised on. A leader with high DQ knows that just because they have a diverse workforce this, in of itself, does not automatically guarantee inclusion. A DQ leader is able to adapt and adjust their behaviour and communication style to effectively interact with people who are different, while also respecting their beliefs, values and lived experiences. DQ leaders also know and understand that exclusive environments and behaviours have been built over many years and as such, inclusion itself will take time to filter through the organisation. While this may be challenging, DQ leaders are acutely aware that forsaking their Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives could jeopardise their organisation's standing in an evolving landscape.
ON HIRING – DQ leaders do not rely on 'similar-to-me' affinity bias.
