AI is here to stay and the formidable speed in which it is improving and how it will be embedded in our daily lives, underscores the need for leaders to become well-versed in AI.
This knowledge not only demystifies AI technology but also alleviates concerns among staff who fear being left behind or replaced.
AI is not going any where. Leaders must, therefore, not only educate themselves on the technology but also ensure that it also reflects the diversity of our societies, workplaces, communities, as well as, customer base. Failure to do so, exposes orgs., to not only legal but other risks too.
Whether it be workplaces, healthcare, food supply chains, transportation, climate change, urban development, and beyond, ethical & inclusive AI has the potential to elevate and enrich our daily lives.
Leaders must therefore embrace AI, ensuring that it reflects the diversity of our societies, workplaces, communities, as well as, customer base.
In terms of workplaces, very few employee engagement touchpoints will remain untouched by AI. This therefore means that important discussions surrounding training, upskilling and re-skilling must begin.
Inclusive AI can augment as well as, enhance our lives. It represents a beacon of hope, capable of assisting societies in reaching out to those who are marginalised or left behind.
Such inclusion enables us to build workplaces & societies underpinned by AI which has been built on solid ethical principles.
